Roger A. Moore, attorney of counsel, has guided clients through their financial difficulties for over 40 years. Before becoming attorney of cousel for the firm, Attorney Moore was a Board-Certified Bankruptcy Specialist and a former Bankruptcy Trustee. Attorney Moore always provided his clients with in-depth insight into debt relief matters, and his priority was always to help get them out of debt as soon as possible. Over his career, he has had to analyze and navigate the changing legal landscape. He has built a reputation as a trusted, compassionate, and practical counsel for those looking to lift their financial burdens.
Memberships
Roger A. Moore is a former member of the Judicial Conference for the Fourth Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Onslow County, North Carolina Bar Association, having held the position of president of the Onslow County Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and was previously a Board Certified Specialist in Bankruptcy Law by the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization and by the American Board of Certification for more than 40 years.
He has been a guest speaker at a continuing legal education (CLE) seminar. Mr. Moore has served as county attorney for Onslow County for 27 years. In 1986 he was president of the North Carolina Association of County Attorneys, and in 1987 he was named North Carolina’s outstanding county attorney.
Roger A. Moore served in the Republic of Vietnam with the 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army, where he was awarded the Bronze Star.

Roger A. Moore graduated from Woodberry Forest School, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (A.B; J.D.) Phi Delta Phi, and was a law clerk to the Honorable John D. Larkins, Jr., U.S. District Court, Eastern District of North Carolina, for two years immediately after law school.

Meet Attorney Ken King
Jacksonville’s Trusted Bankruptcy Lawyer
Ken was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1961 and served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1986 through 1990, where he was a member of the JAG Corps. For years, Ken has been helping North Carolinians who are experiencing the burden of debt. Ken is the firm’s managing partner and practices law in the following areas: workers’ compensation, personal injury litigation, wrongful death, trials in state and federal courts, and arbitrations.

As a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist through the North Carolina State Bar, he recently served on the Workers’ Compensation Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association. Mr. King is also a member and frequent lecturer at the Workers’ Compensation Section of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.
